Myra Casillas

My name is Myra Casillas, I’m 47 years old and live in Aiken, SC. I am the current Membership Coordinator for TriAugusta.

I was born and raised in Southern California as the youngest of 3 kids and learned to defend myself from 2 older brothers (IYKYK). I moved to South Carolina in 2012 for work in Florence before I moved to Aiken in 2016. I started my triathlon journey in 2011 when I joined Team in Training and started training for the San Diego International Triathlon, and I’ve been hooked ever since. This year my goal is to ramp up my training and start signing up for more events!

When I’m not volunteering or supporting the club with my cooler full of ice and drinks, you’ll usually find me in the back of the pack… where we have the most fun (party in the back!!!). If anyone is ever nervous about “being last” don’t be… I’ll usually bring up the rear and cheer everyone on.
