Caroline Atseff

Caroline has lived in the area since graduating from college, coming to the Savannah River Site as an engineer.  She started competing in triathlons in 2016.  She had zero experience swimming or biking; in this sport, you start where you start, regardless of age or athletic experience or ability.  Her first triathlon was the Dare to Tri sprint triathlon at Fort Gordon; this continues to be her favorite sprint race.  That year she completed Ironman 70.3 Augusta.  Caroline competes in all the local tris at various distances.  She’s completed 5 half-ironman races, and in 2022 she completed her first full distance triathlon, Ironman 144.6 Chattanooga.  Caroline enjoys contributing to this great sport and terrific organization.
