Robbie Bennett
Robbie has spent nearly two decades working in economic development, helping businesses grow and communities create opportunity. His work has supported the creation of more than 10,500 jobs in his career, partnering with everyone from local small businesses to Fortune 1000 companies.
In 2018, Robbie experienced a personal turning point. At 295 lbs, he made the decision to prioritize God, family, and health. That journey led him back to a childhood love — cycling — thanks to the care of a dear friend who gave him his first road bike. Through consistent training and a plant-based diet, Robbie lost 90 lbs and discovered a deep passion for the sport. He credits cycling with transforming both his physical health and mental well-being.
That transformation has fueled his commitment to community and competition. Robbie has competed in several gravel races, runs, and completed Ironman Augusta 70.3, and Ironman 70.3 North Carolina — accomplishments that once seemed unimaginable. As a
partner at Cycling Quests, he works to grow cycling culture and access through events like The Gravel Roll, bridging his expertise in economic development with his passion for health and active living.
As a member of the TriAugusta Board of Directors, Robbie is focused on using his
professional experience and his passion for the sport to help make endurance athletics more accessible and impactful in the Augusta region.
